- 2 pounds salmon fillet
- ¼ cup olive oil
- ⅓ cup soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon mild honey
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Pat the salmon dry and remove any bones.
- In a medium measuring jug, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, honey, garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Place the salmon in a zip-top bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag, remove excess air, and refrigerate for 30–60 minutes.
- Preheat your grill to 400–450°F (or oven to 375°F). Remove the salmon from marinade and discard the remaining liquid.
- Grill skin-side down for about 8–12 minutes depending on thickness or bake for approximately 15–22 minutes until cooked through. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
