  • 1 medium white onion (diced)
  • 4 cans pork and beans (14-ounce each)
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • ½ cup BBQ sauce
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cook bacon in a large frying pan over medium heat until crispy, then chop and set aside.
  3. Sauté diced onion in the remaining bacon grease until tender (about 5 minutes).
  4. Combine cooked bacon, ketchup, BBQ sauce, brown sugar, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce with the onions; simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. In a sprayed 9×13-inch baking dish, mix pork and beans with removed liquid and add the sautéed mixture; stir well.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes; uncover and bake an additional 15 minutes.
