Ingredients
- 2 lbs 80/20 ground beef
- 12 pack Hawaiian rolls
- 11 slices Colby jack cheese (or American cheese)
- 1 large sweet onion (diced)
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 24 dill pickles
Instructions
- Preheat oven to broil.
- Slice Hawaiian rolls horizontally and place on a baking sheet cut side up. Melt 4 tablespoons of butter and brush onto the rolls. Broil for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
- Lower oven temperature to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt and pepper, then press into a casserole dish and bake for 20 minutes.
- Sauté diced onion in remaining butter over low heat until browned (about 15 minutes).
- Assemble sliders by layering pickles on the bottom buns followed by beef, cheese, and sautéed onions. Place top buns on.
- Brush top buns with melted butter and return to oven for another 15 minutes until cheese melts.
