Ingredients

  • 16.3 ounces Grands “Big” biscuits
  • 21 ounces cherry pie filling
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon light corn syrup

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a heavy-bottomed saucepan to 325°F.
  2. Separate each biscuit into two halves and flatten slightly.
  3. Place 1 tablespoon of cherry pie filling in the center of each dough piece.
  4. Pinch edges to seal tightly, then roll into balls.
  5. Carefully fry 2-3 balls at a time for about 5 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Drain on paper towels then coat with sugar glaze made from whisking powdered sugar, milk, and corn syrup.
